GIANTS Software and SEGA have officially announced the first major expansion for Farming Simulator 25, titled Highlands Fishing, launching on November 4, 2025. Pre-orders are now live across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with a new Highlands Fishing expansion available, bundling the base game with the upcoming expansion.

A Scenic New Map Inspired by Scotland

The Highlands Fishing DLC introduces a stunning new map, Kinlaig, a rugged and windswept landscape inspired by Scotland’s highlands. This picturesque setting features rolling green fields, coastal cliffs, and even historical stone castles, adding a distinctly regional flair to your farming operations.

Dive into Aquaculture for the First Time

For the first time in franchise history, Farming Simulator 25 will feature aquaculture gameplay, allowing players to breed, raise, and harvest fish like salmon and trout. The DLC also introduces Highland cattle, onions as a new crop, and expands your farming operations both on land and in water.

Over 20 New Machines and Tools

To help players handle the new content, more than 20 new machines and tools from brands like Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread, and GT Bunning will be available. These include both land-based and water-focused farming equipment.

Players who pick up the Highlands Fishing Edition will also receive the MacDon Pack DLC, which adds additional machines and attachments. Alternatively, the expansion is included in the Year 1 Season Pass, which contains three additional content packs.

Farming Across the Globe

The base game of Farming Simulator 25 lets you explore three distinct environments across Asia, North America, and Europe. With over 400 machines from 150+ real-world agricultural brands, the game delivers one of the most comprehensive farming experiences on the market. Animals such as buffalo and goats now join the mix alongside cows, chickens, pigs, and more.

Whether you’re farming solo or with up to six players online, Farming Simulator 25 offers something for every type of player, from meditative solo farming to large-scale multiplayer empires.
