During the finals week of the Dota 2 International 11, an announcer pack featuring the CEO of Aperture Science, Cave Johnson from Portal 2 has been announced and it will be available for all Dota 2 Battle Pass owners.

The announcement was made in a 6 minute long video which had featured both SirActionSlacks, Kaci and Gabe Newell himself as they acted in a skit where they were part of a recording session for the upcoming announcer pack. The skit ended off with Gabe Newell making a phone call using a potato phone to the Aperture Science CEO.

J.K. Simmons will be reprising his role as Cave Johnson and the announcer pack (more specifically the mega kill announcer pack) will be released on the 3rd November as a level 75 reward of the Dota 2 Battle Pass. This isn’t the first time where Dota 2 players have seen Portal 2 being crossed over with the game, where GLaDOS had been previously added as both an announcer pack and a mega kill announcer pack.

For those who might not be familiar with the Mega Kill pack, it is a cosmetic item replaces the default announcer when players were to have a killing streak throughout their match.
