Square Enix has revealed more information on Dragon Quest Treasures, this time detailing more on its battle system.

In Dragon Quest Treasures, your hunt for treasures in Draconia would not always be smooth sailing as the monsters roaming about the land would not hesitate to attack you once you are in sight.

You can take on these monsters on with a number of ways from fighting back with your own monsters, using your own tools to even chaining your attacks together with your monster to perform a Monster Medley.

• Ally Monsters – Let your monsters take their actions freely or give commands to them to group up or rush enemies
• Dragon Daggers and Catapults – The siblings’ main tools at their disposals that they use to attack and provide support from healing to even increase the enemy monsters’ likelihood to join you.
• Monster Medley – Chain together your attacks with your monsters to deal massive damage to enemies
• Unleash the Dragon – A powerful super attack that you or your monsters can unleased once you fully charged your Dagger Gauge.

Throughout your adventure in Draconia, you have a chance to come across monster-themed medals that can boost your stats such as higher attack power or deftness. Be sure to be on the lookout for these to give you an extra edge in battle.

Dragon Quest Treasures is a treasure hunting RPG by Square Enix set to release on December 9^th, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
