Cross Blitz, a deckbuilder that combines RPG elements with turn-based tactical combat, has officially launched its 1.0 version today on Steam. The game is developed by Tako Boy Studios and published by The Arcade Crew. Cross Blitz has built a strong community during its Early Access period with a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with players currently giving it a “Mostly Positive” overall reception.
Cross Blitz features five different protagonists, each with their own storyline for players to experience. The game promises more than 30 hours of gameplay across these various adventures, where players explore different locations and uncover secrets throughout the world.
The core gameplay centers around deckbuilding with over 500 cards available across five different factions. Players can create decks that match their preferred strategies and playstyles.
The main story mode, called Fables, lets players follow the five heroes through their individual adventures. For those looking for more challenge after completing the stories, Cross Blitz includes a roguelite mode called Tusk Tales. This mode features randomized maps, 20 mercenaries to unlock, and 12 different bosses. The roguelite mode also includes various unlockables like relics and trinkets. The game is available now on Steam for $22.99.
