According to a report from VGC, Call of Duty Mobile surged in downloads following its release in China in 2021. The game not only did well in terms of downloads but also in terms of revenue. Through their last financial report last year in 2021, Activision said that Call of Duty Mobile had a “record year” and managed to gross revenue “well above” $1 billion USD.
“The number of people experiencing Call of Duty on mobile each month almost matched those playing on console and PC in 2021,” said the report.
