For the first time ever, Thailand is getting its very own Pokémon Center. Pokémon Center Bangkok is confirmed to open sometime in 2026, and it will be located inside centralwOrld, one of the country’s largest shopping malls.
The announcement was marked with a signing ceremony held together with Central Pattana, the company that manages centralwOrld. The event had a fun local touch, with Pikachus showing up dressed in traditional Thai costumes.

For those unfamiliar, Pokémon Center stores are more than just shops. They carry a wide range of Pokémon merchandise and also serve as a spot for activities like trading card game tournaments and special fan events. The concept has been popular in Japan and has since expanded to other parts of the world, with Bangkok now joining that list.
At the moment, details about the exact opening date, what the store will carry, and any planned events have not been shared yet. Further announcements are expected to follow, so fans in Thailand will need to keep an eye out for updates.
