Zombieland Saga Movie Announced

The undead idols are heading to the big screen with the announcement of a Zombieland saga movie today, though no further info was given.

In true Zombieland Saga fashion there’s very little we actually know about the movie- all that we know is that a teaser was posted, featuring a live-action drama of two men discussing saga before one shoots the other.

Of course, this being Zombieland saga, the man is shown getting up as a zombie later on at the end of the teaser.

Aside from that, no other information was given including the release date or any further plot details regarding the movie.

Zombieland Saga has been a dark horse success of an anime, centering around a group of girls who are resurrected years after their death to become regional idols to save the old prefecture of Saga and it’s tourism industry.

The anime went on to do exactly that- with many of the locations being used in the show being actual real-world places in Saga, getting some fans excited to go on a pilgrimage there.

On the idol front, the anime has also had collaborations with multiple mobile games such as BanG Dream and World Flipper.

The series also got its second season, titled Zombieland Saga Revenge which came out earlier this year.
