Borderlands 4’s Bounty Pack 4 is now available, bringing new story content and rewards to the game. The pack includes a narrative expansion called Murders and Acquisitions, which sends players into a polluted desert canyon known as the Toxic Scowl. There, players help Levaine, leader of the Electi, settle a dispute between rival Ripper factions. The mission is repeatable and includes a new boss, three new mini-bosses, and new loot exclusive to the expansion, including one new Pearlescent weapon and six new pieces of Legendary gear.
Alongside the narrative content, players can also pick up Vault Card 4, which offers desert-themed rewards earned through gameplay. This includes 24 cosmetic items and four pieces of rerollable gear. Bounty Pack 4 is sold in two separate parts, so players can buy the Murders and Acquisitions story content and Vault Card 4 individually. More details on the rewards are available on the official Borderlands blog.
Looking ahead, Story Pack 2 is set to launch September 10 alongside the game’s Version 1.10 update. This story pack centers on the return of FL4K, the beastmaster Vault Hunter from Borderlands 3, who was first shown in the official Story Pack 2 teaser trailer. The same day will also introduce a new playable Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker. Loveless is described as a former Anshin hacker turned assassin, using cybernetic upgrades and a self-made digital virus that can take physical form. A first look at the character was shared in her Vault Hunter teaser.
September 10 will also bring Bounty Pack 5, which will include new narrative mission content along with Vault Card 5. Further details on that pack are expected closer to its release.
