Stupid Never Dies will release for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 21 worldwide, with a Japan release following on October 22. The game comes from developer GPTRACK50, with SEGA co-publishing and handling distribution around the world. Players take on the role of Davy, a timid zombie stuck at the bottom of a monster-ruled underworld.
GPTRACK50 president Hiroyuki Kobayashi shared his thoughts on the partnership in a press release. “We are delighted and deeply grateful to SEGA for their publishing partnership and support as we bring the first of many games from GPTRACK50 to players,” he said, adding that the team is proud of the original gameplay systems in the game and is looking forward to players experiencing it on October 21.
The game will include English voice-overs, along with subtitle support in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Two editions of Stupid Never Dies will be available at launch. The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99 and includes the base game. The Glorious Idiot Edition costs $59.99 and adds the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack, a set of five downloadable extras that change up visuals and music. With the release date now set, players on PS5 and PC can expect to jump into Davy’s world this October.
