Sony Interactive Entertainment is getting into the fight stick space with the FlexStrike, its first ever wireless fight stick made for PS5 and PC. The controller goes on sale on August 6, 2026, with pre-orders opening on June 12 at participating local retailers. The suggested retail price is MYR 999.
The FlexStrike connects wirelessly through PlayStation Link, which Sony says delivers ultra-low latency response. It also supports wired connection via USB-C for those who prefer it. The controller comes with a built-in rechargeable battery and includes a sling carry case with a lever gap to keep the stick protected during transport, making it easier to bring to tournaments or gatherings.
On the hardware side, the FlexStrike features a custom digital stick, buttons with mechanical switches, and toolless interchangeable restrictor gates in three shapes: square, circle, and octagon. The bottom has a textured non-slip base so the controller stays in place whether it’s on a desk or in your lap. Storage for the restrictor gates and the PlayStation Link wireless adapter is built into the device itself.

It carries all the standard DualSense controller buttons along with a touchpad. Users can also customize certain functions, such as switching directional inputs using the lever mode switch, or locking the layout with a lock button to avoid accidental presses mid-match. Note that the mute button is not included and the directional pad is controlled through the lever.
Alongside the FlexStrike announcement, Sony also revealed the Pulse Elevate, its first wireless speakers developed under the PlayStation brand. Designed for PS5, PC, and Mac setups, the Pulse Elevate also works with PlayStation Portal and smartphones. It features lossless wireless audio through PlayStation Link and is positioned for low latency gaming use. The speakers are set to launch later this year, with local pricing and pre-order details still to be announced.

The FlexStrike launch also lines up with the release of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The PS5 physical edition of that game will also be available for pre-order at a suggested retail price of MYR 249.
