Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine, Akatsuki and Kadokawa’s co-developed mobile game is getting an anime adaptation, after getting released way back in June 2017.

Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine tells the tale of a highschool student who has given up on baseball until a group of like-minded girls with a deep passion in baseball show up. The player then agrees to become manager for the team and together they aim to to go to Japanese High School Baseball Championship, otherwise known as Summer Koshien.

You then recruit even more members along the way in order to form the most formidable team ever known. Training aside, you will spend precious moments with your recruits to deepen your bonds with one another.

From the plot alone, expect to see to a compelling anime featuring the most popular sport in Japan. Truth to be told, we have not heard of this game until the show was announced so it would be interesting to see where it goes from here.
