The worlds of Dota 2 and Monster Hunter have finally collided. Valve and Capcom have teamed up for one of the biggest crossovers yet. This event mixes the thrill of monster hunting with the chaos of Dota’s hero battles. Players can join a grand hunt across the Dota world, craft powerful Monster Hunter-style gear, and tame adorable companions from Capcom’s hit series.

Hunt Down Heroes and Forge Legendary Gear
It’s open season on Dota’s fiercest heroes. In this crossover, players will take on special hero hunts to earn materials for crafting. These materials can be used to forge new Monster Hunter-inspired item sets. There are six hero sets in total, each based on a classic Monster Hunter armor. Even better, every set has three alternate craftable versions.
The core version of each hero set is free for all Dota players. Simply complete hunts and collect materials to craft them. Moreover, the new Hero Atlas helps track your hunting progress and hero lore. It also includes dispatches from the farthest corners of the Dota world, written by Axe’s loyal scribe, Goodkind.
Adorable Companions Join the Fight
No Monster Hunter adventure is complete without loyal companions. Players can now bring a Palico courier into battle, complete with craftable costumes. You’ll also receive a Poogie pet that waits in your base to greet you after each match.
Thankfully, he’s house-trained, or at least, that’s the hope. Both companions feature customizable outfits, allowing you to personalize them to your liking.
Go Beyond with the Expedition Pack
For players who want more, the Expedition Pack offers extra rewards. It includes Monster Hunter monsters like Rathalos for Dragon Knight and Bullfango for Beastmaster. Additionally, it comes with a Monster Hunter music pack, seasonal sprays, and bonus crafting materials.
Expedition Pack owners can also craft exclusive variants of hero sets, Palico, and Poogie. These versions come with unique ambient and Immortal effects, making them true collector’s items.
