The gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 closed its doors after drawing an impressive 206,159 attendees, marking a record for the highest turnout since the event began. The show concluded with the Thailand Game Awards ceremony, where Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 dominated the night by taking home the top prize, Game of the Year 2025.

The Thailand Game Awards recognized excellence across two main categories: Hardware and the Gaming Industry. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 swept multiple categories, winning Best RPG Game, Best PC/Console Game, Popular Vote, and ultimately Game of the Year 2025.

During the closing ceremony, Thailand’s Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun addressed the crowd and shared some important news about the event’s future. She noted that while this was the first time gamescom asia had been held in Thailand, organizers were already planning to return. Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Vice President for Asia Pacific at Koelnmesse, confirmed that next year’s event would stay in Bangkok, with dates set for October 29 to November 1, 2026.
