SEGA has officially announced that SpongeBob SquarePants will be drifting into the upcoming high-speed arcade racer Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, as part of the second wave of DLC in the Digital Deluxe Edition Season Pass.
The collaboration was revealed in the Kids’ Choice Awards Trailer, giving fans their first look at the undersea mayhem joining the Sonic universe.
In this colorful crossover, players can race as both SpongeBob and Patrick, drive the iconic Patty Wagon, and hit the track on the brand-new BiKiNi BOTTOM course.
The game is set to release on September 25, for major platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store (PC release on Sept 26).

Crafted by SEGA’s veteran racing developers, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds combines fast-paced, chaotic racing action with iconic characters from across dimensions. The game supports online multiplayer cross-play, letting players compete globally across all supported platforms.
