2K and Gearbox Software officially revealed the Borderlands 4 Story Trailer over the weekend during Borderlands Fan Fest, offering fans their first deep look into the explosive next chapter of the looter-shooter franchise.
Launching on September 12, 2025, Borderlands 4 promises a high-stakes journey through the war-torn world of Kairos, where players must rise against the oppressive regime of the Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator commanding an army of synthetic soldiers known as The Order.
Borderlands 4 introduces a new setting, fresh Vault Hunters, and intense action-RPG gunplay set in a dystopian future. The trailer teases an uprising of rebels banding together to overthrow the Timekeeper’s brutal control over Kairos.
From high-powered loot to signature chaotic humor, Borderlands 4 builds on its genre-defining roots while evolving its story, combat mechanics, and world exploration.

Pre-orders are now available, where players can buy the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, or the Super Deluxe Edition.

Players will also get a pre-order bonus, where they will get a Gilded Glory Pack, consisting of a Vault Hunter Skin, Echo-4 Drone Skin, and a Weapon Skin.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), with pre-orders now live. To know where to pre-order the game, make sure to go to their pre-order page.
