POCO Launches the Latest F6 Series Smartphones in Malaysia

POCO is set to launch its flagship device, the new POCO F6 series in Malaysia, featuring a boost in the performance and photography segment.

The series features the POCO F6 and the POCO F6 Pro, and their specifications are as follows.

POCO F6 Pro 

Boasted as the all-around flagship, the POCO F6 Pro is powered by the new Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 chipset and features the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system. 

For its display, it is packed with a 6.67-inch ultra-clear WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, peak brightness of 4,000 nits, 3,840Hz PWM dimming1, and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification.

In the realm of camera and photography, the device boasts the new Dual Native ISO Fusion technology, allowing high and low gain channels with a maximum exposure difference of up to 16 times. There is also Burst Mode 2.0 for users to capture their moments with swiftness while maintaining clarity, especially with the POCO Imaging Engine algorithm, which speeds up loading and calculation. Another new feature of the camera is the Ultra Night Algorithm, which is said to enhance shots in darkness with more accurate color representation through its AI multi-frame fusion.

Furthermore, the device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with a smart 120W HyperCharge charging capability. The POCO F6 Pro will be available in Black or White, and features velvet glass with curved edges.

On the other side, we have the POCO F6, powered by the new Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 chipset with WildBoost Optimization 3.0 and LiquidCool Technology 4.0, claimed to have an AnTuTu score of over 1.53 million.

Onto its display, the POCO F6 is equipped with a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution Flow AMOLED DotDisplay CrystalRes display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,400 nits peak brightness, and 68 billion colors. It also have a super-slim bezel and screen-to-body ratio of 94.27% with TÜV Rheinland eye-care and circadian-friendly and flicker-free certifications. 

The POCO F6 features a 50MP triple camera setup with an IMX882 ultra-wide sensor with a large F/1.59 aperture, while also coming with OIS and EIS, now an F series standard. Aside from photography, the device is said to be capable of capturing 4k video with 60 FPS. Meanwhile, the Motion Tracking Focus 2.0 allows the tracking of movement for photography.

Additionally, the device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 90W turbo charging. The POCO F6 will be available in 3 color options – Black, Green, and the new Titanium color.

Availability and Pricing 

The POCO F6 series is now available for purchase in Malaysia. POCO F6 Pro will come in two colors – Black and White and will also be available in 3 variants – 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB +1TB. 

Meanwhile, the POCO F6 is available in 3 color choices – Black, Green, and Titanium color, and it will be available in variants – 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
