Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the official release date for the Global version of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage.
As announced on the game’s official Twitter, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage Global has a release date of 17 October 2023 for Android and iOS devices.
Alongside the release date announcement, Bandai Namco Entertainment has also unveiled that the Global version of Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage will be available for pre-download on 16 October 2023, a day prior to the official launch.
The game is currently open for pre-registration on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and upon reaching certain registrant milestones, Bandai Namco will be handing out in-game gifts to players at launch.
As of writing, Bandai Namco has revealed that the game has exceeded over 200,000 pre-registrations and players will be eligible for 4,500 Diamonds and a UR Gundam once the game releases.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage was previously launched in Japan on 30 November 2021, featuring gameplay that sees players build up a team of Mobile Suits and appoint iconic pilots across the series to operate them via a gacha system.
Once players assemble their team of Mobile Suits, they will be engaged in an automated battle where positioning and team compositions play an important role in determining victories.
The narrative of the game will cover the retellings of the original Universal Century (UC) world stories alongside new scenarios in animated cutscenes in the style of early Gundam animes such as the 1979 original and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
As revealed, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage Global is slated to be released on 17 October 2023 for Android and iOS devices.
