Dungeon & Figher: Spirit is a game by Nexon and it was launched in South Korea this year. Nexon had even collaborated with China’s Tencent to bring the game into China’s market. However while the game is an adaptation of the popular PC version, Dungeon & Fighter: Spirit is now being shut down later this month.
There was no news as to why Nexon is shutting down the game in South Korea but whenever a game dies, another one will be birthed. This time, Nexon will be working on a new project which (still) will be based on the popular IP. The new project will be led by the project leader of the PC version of DNF (Dungeon & Fighter) which has been the lead for 3 years. It seems that despite the closure of DNF: Spirit, the new project will be another 2D mobile game that aims to re-create the PC version on mobile devices.
