Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smartphone lineup in Malaysia with the introduction of the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. The new series represents an upgrade from previous T Series models, focusing on improved photography capabilities and modern technology features.
Advanced Camera and New Features
Both phones feature a triple camera system developed in partnership with Leica. The setup includes a main camera, ultra-wide camera, and telephoto camera. The Xiaomi 15T Pro comes with a special Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera, while the regular 15T has a standard telephoto lens.
The main camera on both models uses a 50MP sensor with a Leica Summilux optical lens. The regular 15T has an f/1.7 aperture, while the Pro version features a wider f/1.62 aperture for better low-light performance. The Pro model also includes a Light Fusion 900 image sensor with improved dynamic range for clearer photos.

For zoom capabilities, the 15T Pro offers 5x optical zoom, 10x optical-level zoom, and up to 20x Ultra Zoom. The regular 15T provides zoom options but at lower magnification levels. Both phones include a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The series introduces Xiaomi Astral Communication technology, including a new feature called Xiaomi Offline Communication. This allows users to communicate directly between 15T Series phones without needing cellular or Wi-Fi signals. The Pro model can reach distances up to 1.9km, while the regular 15T works up to 1.3km in open areas like hiking trails or remote locations.

Display and Design
Both models feature a large 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of 3,200 nits for clear viewing even in bright sunlight. The Pro model includes ultra-narrow 1.5mm bezels and supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, while the regular 15T supports up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the 15T Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, while the 15T uses the Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor. Both phones include a 5,500mAh battery. The Pro model supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, while the regular 15T features 67W wired charging.

The phones will run Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which includes improved multitasking, faster app launches, and updated interface elements. The devices feature a glass fiber back panel and aluminum frame, with water and dust resistance rated at IP68, allowing submersion up to 3 meters in freshwater. The 15T Pro will be available in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold colors, while the regular 15T comes in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold options.
