Turn 10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport will no longer receive new content as the team shifts focus to the upcoming Forza Horizon 6. In a statement posted on the official Forza website, the developer thanked players for their support throughout 2025 and explained that the studio will now concentrate on delivering Forza Horizon 6, which is set to launch in 2026.
“As our team shifts its focus toward delivering the best possible experience with Forza Horizon 6 in 2026, we do not plan to introduce new cars, tracks, features, or regular bug fixes for Forza Motorsport,” the statement said.

Despite ending new content production, Turn 10 confirmed that Forza Motorsport will continue to be supported. The game’s online servers will remain active, and the team will host special events and competitions. Previously released Featured Tours and reward cars will also be brought back on a monthly rotation until all content becomes available to players.
Released in 2023, Forza Motorsport marked the eighth entry in the series and served as a reboot. Since launch, the game has received 22 free updates that added new tracks, vehicles, and various improvements.

The announcement follows several changes at Turn 10. In July, the studio was affected by layoffs as part of broader cuts at Microsoft. Former employee Fred Russell claimed on Facebook that Turn 10 had “shuttered the Forza Motorsport space and the team is no more,” suggesting the studio was transitioning to a support role for Forza Horizon.
