Tokyo Game Show 2025 is officially breaking records and has surpassed last year’s attendance figures, making it the largest Tokyo Game Show in the event’s history. The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) announced that this year’s exhibition will feature more exhibitors and booths than the previous record-breaking 2024 event.
As of September 9, TGS2025 has attracted 1,138 exhibitors, including 28 online participants. The lineup includes 523 companies from Japan and 615 from overseas. The physical venue will host 4,159 booths, significantly more than the previous record set in 2024. Additionally, visitors can expect to see 1,206 different game titles on display as of September 4.
Event Schedule and Programs
TGS2025 has released the complete schedule for its event stages and official programs. Over the four-day event, there will be 14 stage programs (with 7 organized by exhibitors) and 22 official programs. Many of these programs will be streamed online as official content.


The event runs from September 25-28, 2025 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. The first two days (Thursday and Friday) are business days running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while the weekend days are open to the general public from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sunday.
New Influencer Announcements
TGS2025 has named its second wave of official influencers, called TGS BOOSTERZ. These content creators will help promote the event worldwide. The newly announced influencers are AXIS_MYCALL (a Korean strategy game streamer), Kawaii Coco (a Japanese comedy creator from Kyoto), Kenki (a U.S. lifestyle and gaming influencer with over 700,000 followers), Kuronetsu Denkyu, and Moga Mogami.
The event organizers expect around 250,000 visitors across all four days. Detailed information about each exhibitor’s booth will be released after September 12. Tokyo Game Show 2025 continues to grow as one of the world’s major gaming events, bringing together companies and fans from around the globe to showcase the latest in gaming technology and entertainment.
