Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the winners of the FIFAe World Cup 2025, an official eSports tournament featuring the competitive title eFootball. The championship took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 10-13, with competitions held across mobile and console divisions.
The tournament, co-hosted by Konami and FIFA, saw record participation this year. A total of 90 countries and regions took part in the qualifiers, with 16.51 million players competing for a spot. Twelve national representatives from each division advanced to the finals.
In the mobile division final, Thailand’s representative JXMKT defeated Brazil to claim the championship. After his victory, JXMKT shared his gratitude: “I am very proud and I want to thank my coach. Without him, I couldn’t become a champion, and I want to thank my team, and Thailand for support. Dream came true.”
The console division final was played over two rounds, with Poland’s team of Ostrybuch and Zilo sweeping Italy to secure the world championship. Zilo, holding the trophy, expressed his emotions: “It is very special to me, especially that I’m standing here with my brother. I’m really proud of us.”
Ostrybuch added: “We proved that we are the best, and we played incredible. More deserved that I couldn’t be.”The FIFAe World Cup 2025 marks another milestone for competitive eFootball, bringing together players from around the world to compete at the highest level of the sport.
