TGV Cinemas has announced that it will be screening The Game Awards 2022, allowing Malaysian fans to tune in to the annual awards show.

In a tweet, they announced that this would be in collaboration with IMAX Live, letting fans come watch The Game Awards at participating TGV outlets.

“[TGV Cinemas] and [IMAX Live]are excited to present [The Game Awards] Join us in celebrating the best of gaming this December 9. Stay tuned for the ticket sales announcement”, they said in a tweet.

Not much else is currently known about the screening- for one, given that the awards show is taking place in the US, a live screening would mean having to come early in the morning.

It’s also unknown just how many outlets will be participating in the event as of yet.

This follows last week’s announcement that The Game Awards would be collaborating with IMAX Live- while originally it as only announced for cinemas in the US and Canada, today’s news brings the awards show to Malaysia as well.
