At Square Enix Presents at TGS 2021 Online, Square Enix director, Hiroyuki Ito, unveiled Dungeon Encounters. The new dungeon crawler RPG seems reminiscent of the RPGs of old, with fairly simple graphics all things considered. Check out the trailer below:

There will be a launch sale for Japan at least, with details likely to be confirmed closer to the release date for Dungeon Encounters on 14 October 2021. The trailer includes taglines such as:

• Chart the depths
• Master your abilities
• Overcome your trials
• Meet with all manner of allies
• Face the deadliest of foes

Fans of Wizardry or Etrian Odyssey might find this game interesting, so keep an eye out.
