Naughty Dog has officially announced the release date for The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC during The Game Awards 2024. The highly anticipated remaster will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store on April 3, 2025. Revealed during The Game Awards 2024, this marks the first time the critically acclaimed sequel will be available on PC, with enhanced visuals, new gameplay modes, and features tailored for the platform.

Originally released for PlayStation 5, The Last of Us Part II Remastered introduces the roguelike No Return mode, early-development Lost Levels with developer commentary, and a Guitar Free Play mode for more immersive exploration.

Game Director Matthew Gallant emphasized the studio’s dedication to delivering a polished experience for PC players, saying, “We’re working hard to ensure high performance and robust features for PC players.”

The remaster is developed in collaboration with Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy Studios, who are focused on optimizing the game for PC. Coen Frauenfelder, PC Product Director at Nixxes, stated, “We’re committed to providing a scalable, high-performance port for all players.”
