Swiss watchmakers Swatch has partnered up with Toei Animation to launch a line of Dragonball Z themed watches which will also be coming out in Malaysia.
The line of Dragonball Z themed watches features some of the series’ popular characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Master Rohan, Majin Buu, Cell, Frieza as well as Gohan. Each of the Dragonball Z themed watches shows off the watches having incorporating various of design elements which represents their respective character counterparts.
Over at the Swatch x Dragonball Z collaboration website, we can take a closer look at the line of watches as well as the prices for each of the individual watch.
Goku X Swatch
Unleash your inner warrior with this Dragon Ball Z Goku watch. It features a solid-black case and bezel, an orange silicone strap with a multi-colored print and a white dial printed with the first kanji character for ‘Goku’ in black. The rear features Goku’s primary mode of transport: Kintoun, a mysterious nimbus cloud. Comes in special packaging.
Vegeta X Swatch
Showcasing a Scouter-inspired red-colored glass with multi-colored print covering the white dial with a black Goku silhouette print, Vegeta’s ready to read Goku’s power level with this Dragon Ball Z watch. It features a solid-white case with a red print and a blue silicone strap with a multi-colored ‘Great Ape’ print on the back. Comes in special packaging.
Kamesennin X Swatch
This Dragon Ball Z watch captures the spirit of legendary martial arts master Kamesennin. It features a solid-white case, an orange silicone strap with a multi-colored print, and a white dial with a multi-colored print of the master himself. The reverse side of the strap is inspired by his Aloha shirt. Comes in special packaging.
Majin Buu X Swatch
Majin Buu and his playful personality characterize this Dragon Ball Z watch. It features a solid-black case with a yellow print, a white-and-pink silicone strap with a multi-colored print, and a yellow dial bearing the evil symbol known as the Majin Mark. The reverse side of the strap is a nod to Majin Buu and his violet cape. Comes in special packaging.
Cell X Swatch
This Dragon Ball Z watch is inspired by Cell, the perfect warrior. It features a solid-black case, a black bezel with a multi-colored print, a green silicone strap with a multi-colored print and a white dial with green numbers. An earlier incarnation of Cell with a longer tail is the inspiration for the back of the watch. Comes in special packaging.
Freiza X Swatch
Evil has never looked more stylish than with this Dragon Ball Z Frieza watch. It features a solid-violet case with a multi-colored print, a white silicone strap with a multi-colored print and a white-and-purple dial that mimics Frieza’s characteristic physique. The reverse side of the strap features Frieza in his earlier form. Comes in special packaging.
Gohan X Swatch
With a dial reproducing Gohan’s powerful Kamehameha, this Dragon Ball Z watch is all about releasing inner strength. It has a solid-violet case with a multi-colored print, a violet silicone strap with multi-colored print and a white dial. There’s also a reference to Kid Gohan on the back of the watch. Comes in special packaging.
