Level-5 has just made a new announcement on its The Snack World cross-media project, which is set to have anime airing on 13 April 2017 weekly on Thursdays in Japan.
As you wait for the game, indulge in the story of The Snack World as you follow Chup and his comrades embark on an adventure of their lifetime. After an oddly named merchant Vinegar took away his hometown, Chup sets off on a journey to exact justice.
Because the game world does not particularly look traditional, Level-5 is dubbing The Snack World to having a “hyper casual fantasy” world with a grand adventure story filled with laughter. As you tide things over with the anime, be reminded that The Snack World will release on the 3DS in July 2017, with the Android and iOS versions to follow suit in December 2017.
