Square Enix has just released a new trailer for their upcoming smartphone title, Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect. The trailer highlights some of the charming artwork associated with the series as well as a sneak peek at the gameplay.
From what we are able to tell from the trailer, it would seem like the fairy the green wings, who goes by the name Rinne, will play a significant role in the game. As far as gameplay goes, it borrows many aspects from the Bravely series such as the “Brave & Default” system in combat, so you will feel right at home.
As reported earlier, Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect will be out in Japan sometime in Summer 2017 for iPhone and Android as a free-to-play game with the usual micro-transactions. In any case, be sure to pre-register for the game now for potential goodies.
