If Konami maintains its annual schedule, fans could expect Townfall in 2026, followed by Bloober Team’s remake in 2027.

Okamoto also mentioned “unannounced titles,” suggesting that smaller-scale games like The Short Message may fill in gaps between larger projects. While Konami admits it is ambitious to release a new game every year, the company aims to “keep the buzz around Silent Hill constant.” Multiple developers are collaborating on different projects—Bloober Team is handling the remakes, NeoBards manages Silent Hill f, and British indie studio Screen Burn is working on Townfall.

Balancing Quality and Quantity

While fans are excited by the prospect of frequent releases, some are cautious. The plan has drawn comparisons to Ubisoft’s annual Assassin’s Creed schedule between 2009 and 2015, which included several buggy or underwhelming launches.
