Japan-based game developer Sumzap has just announced a new mobile RPG today, going by the name Sengoku Asura, which is due in Autumn of 2017.
As you may have inferred from the title alone, the game is set during the Sengoku period, where you get to play as warriors from that tumultuous era. Famous figureheads in that era are present, such as Uesugi Kenshin and Tadakatsu Honda. All the characters are customisable, proving players the option to choose from an arsenal of weapons that include the katana, bow and spear. All weapons are also tied to a particular job class, providing an additional layer of depth.
The game is currently open for pre-registration at the moment, so if you are interested, you may wish to sign up for some nifty in-game rewards, which range from in game currency up to a character in the form of Masakage Yamagata.
