PlayStation Blog has opened voting for its annual PS Blog Game of the Year Awards, letting players decide which games deserve recognition across 19 different categories.
The awards celebrate the year’s best gaming experiences, from major new releases and long-awaited sequels to standout indie titles. Players can vote for games that impressed them with gameplay, characters, art, music, and more.

Voting runs until Monday, December 8 at 11:59 PM PT. Winners will receive Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum PS Blog trophies based on vote counts, with results announced in the coming weeks.
Each category includes multiple nominees, plus a write-in option for players who want to vote for games not listed. Only player votes count toward the final results.

The Best PS5 Game category covers games released in 2025, including titles that came out after last year’s November 30 cutoff. Updates to older games don’t qualify, only new releases. Best Multiplayer Experience focuses on 2025 releases, while Best Ongoing Game recognizes titles that launched major content updates or significant changes this year.
Best Rerelease applies to upgraded, ported, or remastered versions of existing games. Full remakes compete in other categories instead. Games needed to release by November 30 to qualify for this year’s awards. Titles launching after that date will be eligible for the 2026 awards.
