Predator: Hunting Grounds launches today – the hunt begins!

The hunt begins today as Predator: Hunting Grounds launches today! Did you try out the trial weekend? Illfonic CEO, Charles Brungardt, took to the Playstation Blog discussing developments once the trial weekend ended.

Changes since the trial include:

• Infil locations based on the mission for the Fireteam
• Quick gear swapping controls are now shown on the screen and many weapon adjustments have been made, in regard to damage done, etc
• Diffuse button for the Predator Self Destruct sequence easier to interact with
• Increased difficulty with the Self Destruct puzzle
• Predator target isolation will no longer start at 100% at the match start
• Ability to switch weapons while transitioning in Predkour and made changes to various elements of the weapons, like damage
• Updated the walking/running footstep attenuation to make the Predator stealthier
• Crossplay is now enabled by default
• Voice mic mute is no longer enabled by default
• Performance issues and tuning on-going

A free content update will be available roughly a month after launch, with more coming soon too. They already have a roadmap ready which you can look forward to! Full patch notes and discussions can be found on the game forums, for those especially keen to be up to date.
