POCO X5 Pro 5G & X5 5G Specifications and Price Revealed

During the Global launch event for the POCO X5 Pro 5G & X5 5G, the specifications and prices for both phone models are revealed.

POCO X5 5G

The POCO X5 5G model aimed at Content Consumers will feature an AMOLED display with up to 1200 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 Wide colour gamut and boasts 120 Hz refresh rates. The X5 will pack the Snapdragon 965 processor with 5G network support.

Packing up to 8GB RAM, 256 GB internal storage and 1Tb expandable storage, the POCO X5 5G comes in black, blue and a brand new green colour for its design. On the topic of design, the X5 will only be 7.98 mm thin and weighs at 189 g.

Additionally, the POCO X5 5G comes equipped with 5000 mAh battery life and offers a 33W fast charging, only needing 68 mins for a full charge. The comes also comes with 3.5 mm headphone jack, 48 MP triple camera and is tested for IP53 splash and dust resistance.

The base variant of the POCO X5 5G (6GB RAM + 128 Storage) is priced at RM 1099 while the 8GB RAM + 256 GB Storage variant is priced at RM1199. Early bird pricing will be available for those who purchase at RM 999 (6GB+128GB) and RM 1,099 (8GB+256GB).

POCO X5 Pro 5G

Meanwhile, the POCO X5 Pro 5G is geared towards content creators. It features the Snapdragon 778G processor and the MIUI 14 operating system. The X5 Pro features a 108 MP Camera that supports 4K resolution of video capture and a 120 degree Ultra-wide camera.

The POCO X5 Pro 5G features the Flow AMOLED display that supports Foldable and Curved display. The model offers a 2.9 mm ultra thin bezzel, DCI-P3 Wide colour gamut, 120 Hz refresh rates and 1920 Hz PWM dimming for night time viewing.

It comes with a 5000 mAH battery life and 67W turbo charging that only takes up to 46 minutes for the phone to be fully charged. The X5 Pro comes in Black, Blue and Yellow.

The base variant of the POCO X5 Pro 5G (6GB RAM + 128 Storage) is priced at RM 1299 while the 8GB RAM + 256 GB Storage variant is priced at RM1499. Early bird pricing will be available for those who purchase at RM 1,199 (6GB+128GB) and RM 1,399 (8GB+256GB).
