Developer PocketGame and publisher Networkgo have quietly restored the Steam store page for Pickmos, their upcoming creature collector RPG. The page was taken down in mid-April by Networkgo over copyright concerns, but it has since returned with noticeable changes to its artwork and gameplay footage. No official announcement has been made about the comeback by either party.

Looking at the restored Steam page, the header image has been noticeably reworked. Several creature designs that were singled out for being too close to existing intellectual property have been removed or replaced. A creature that was widely compared to a popular fan-made Mega Meganium design is no longer in the image. The Pikachu and Lucario lookalikes are also gone. A monster that resembled Charizard has been swapped out for a more mechanical dragon design.

Pickmos was first announced in February 2026 under the name Pickmon. The game drew immediate attention for how closely it resembled both Pokémon and Palworld, not just in how it looked, but also in how it played. The reaction from fans was largely negative. Players pointed out that several creature designs looked extremely similar to existing Pokémon, and PocketGame was accused of using fan-made Pokémon designs without permission.

On April 10, PocketGame announced it would be renaming the game from Pickmon to Pickmos, a move that appeared to be a response to how similar the original name sounded to a very well-known franchise. Six days later, Networkgo stepped in with a statement of its own, saying it would be taking a more active role in overseeing the game’s development. As part of this, the Steam store page was pulled down to give the team time to rework the game and, in the publisher’s words, “ensure a controversy-free experience.”

The original trailer video remains missing from the Steam page and has also been delisted on YouTube, which suggests PocketGame still has more work to do before all of the controversial content has been properly replaced.
