SEGA and ATLUS have officially announced Persona 6, the next mainline entry in the beloved Persona series is now available to wishlist on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam. The game was revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, marking the next chapter in a franchise that has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. No release date has been announced yet, but the game is confirmed to be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
As for the story, Persona 6 brings a completely fresh, standalone story with a new cast of characters, blending heartfelt daily life with a supernatural adventure. ATLUS has been clear that no prior experience with the series is required, framing the game as a jumping-on point for newcomers. Store page descriptions confirm players will “live a double life in modern-day Japan,” keeping the series’ signature calendar structure intact.

The Steam store page also confirms that the game features full audio support for both Japanese and English. While Persona 6 is still a ways off, ATLUS also has another title on the horizon for fans to look forward to in the meantime. Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of the 2008 classic, is set to launch on February 18, 2027, and is now available to pre-order on Xbox and PC, with PlayStation 5 and Steam pre-orders also open. ATLUS has noted that fans should expect more Persona 6 details to come after Persona 4 Revival’s release.
