Koei Tecmo has announced a port of the original Monster Rancher. The game launched in Japan for the original Playstation July 24 1997. No platforms were announced for the 2019 port. The original tweet is here.

According to Gematsu, the word “haishin” was used, a word typically indicating digital release. It could be anything meaning a smartphone title, digital-only console/PC release, or all of the above.
