LINE Games has launched Studio LARGO‘s Buried Stars “communication and survival adventure” visual novel game on Steam. Studio LARGO is its in-house development team.
At launch, Buried Stars achieved first place in Steam’s Top Sellers, Popular New Releases, and New Top Sellers category in South Korea, and achieved top 14 in the Global Top Sellers. The game was originally available on PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch since July 2020. The game offers controller support, with Korean and Japanese audio, and English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) subtitles.
Experience this mystery adventure game full of suspense and drama revolving around a collapsed stage of a survival audition program. Observe any evidence left behind, gather clues from conversations and social media, and figure out the truth. Multiple endings are available, diverging based on your sanity and rapport with other characters.
Buried Stars has won awards, earning the Excellence Prize and Planning/Scenario at 2020 Korea Game Awards, and was selected as the Best PC/Console Winner at MWU (Made with Unity) Award 2021. The game is available at $39.99 on Steam or your regional equivalent, with soundtrack available as DLC at $9.99 or regional equivalent. A 15% launch discount will be available until 7 December 2021 KST.
