It has been announced that Season 3 of the Konosuba anime is in development. There will also be an anime adaptation of KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World, a spin-off starring the character Megumin.
Both of these projects will be animated by Studio Drive, who will be taking over from Studio Deen who animated the first two seasons of Konosuba.

Studio Drive is a fairly new studio that has previously worked on Vlad Love, and Actors: Songs Connection. They are also currently working on the Uzumaki Anime and the second season for To Your Eternity.
Despite the change in studios, the third season will still have the same director as the previous two seasons, Takaomi Kanasaki.
Studio Dive will also be working on a Konosuba spin-off series called KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World which will star fan-favorite character Megumin.
This is based on the light novel spin-off of the same name. The anime explores Megumin’s past and how she became obsessed and learned explosion magic before the start of the main plot.

There is currently no word on when either anime will begin airing or if they will be airing during the same anime season.
