Konami has cancelled the physical release of the SILENT HILL f soundtrack, the company announced through its official retail website, Konami Style. The cancelled products include both the standard CD version and a limited-edition vinyl exclusive to Konami Style. Both formats were set to launch on December 17. According to Konami, the cancellation is due to “various circumstances,” though the company did not provide further details.

Customers who pre-ordered the physical soundtrack will receive refunds once all cancellations are processed. While the album still appears on some retail sites like Amazon and Yahoo Shopping, major Japanese retailer Tower Records has already removed it from their online store, with other retailers expected to do the same.
The soundtrack remains available in digital form through the Silent Hill f Digital Deluxe Upgrade DLC, though the physical release’s cancellation suggests a standalone release on digital streaming platforms is unlikely.

The game’s music was created by a notable team of composers. Akira Yamaoka, known for his work on the Silent Hill series, collaborated with Koei Tecmo’s Kensuke Inage on the soundtrack. Independent composers dai and xaki, who previously worked on music for Ryukishi07’s When They Cry series, also contributed tracks. Konami has not yet provided additional information about the reasons behind the cancellation.
