LEVEL-5 and Aiming have announced that Inazuma Eleven: Cross, a free-to-play mobile game, will be available on iOS and Android in Japan on June 9, 2026. The game can be downloaded through the App Store and Google Play, and pre-registration is already open. The game will include in-app purchases.
Described by LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino during the LEVEL-5 Vision 2026 Craftsmanship event, Cross is designed as a casual mobile experience with simple, intuitive controls so players can jump in anytime, anywhere.
The game features a new protagonist named Yō Shiosawa and an original story. In the simulation game, players develop teams as a coach. Players do not control each character individually but instead act as a coach, with match outcomes determined by squad composition, tactics, and in-match decisions.
To mark the launch, the developers revealed the Japan National Team 2026 Project, a special in-game initiative that comes with newly illustrated commemorative artwork. As part of this project, two fan-favorite characters are being added to the game in national team uniforms: Mark Evans (known as Mamoru Endo in Japan) and Jude Sharp (Yuto Kido).

A closed beta test began on January 29 in Japan and has since ended, with the development team making final adjustments based on player feedback.
