Fuga: Melodies of Steel Is Coming to Mobile This July

CyberConnect2 has announced several new updates for the Fuga: Melodies of Steel series, including a mobile release, an upcoming art book, and fresh artwork celebrating the series’ fifth anniversary.

The first game in the trilogy, Fuga: Melodies of Steel, is coming to iOS and Android on July 29, 2026. The mobile version will feature controls built specifically for smartphones and tablets. It will also include bonuses from the original game’s Deluxe Edition, with Costume Packs 1 through 3 available at no extra cost.

CyberConnect2 also announced that an art book titled Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 – Little Tail Bronx Archives is currently in development and is set to release sometime in 2026. No further details have been shared about its contents or pricing yet.

To mark five years of the series, artist Itsuki Hoshi created a set of new illustrations. These are being sold as a clear file set through CyberConnect2’s online store, and the individual illustrations have also been shared publicly by the team.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel is a tactical RPG where players control a group of children aboard a large tank. Battles play out in a turn-based format, with players choosing from weapons like a machine gun, a cannon, and a heavy cannon, each serving a different purpose in combat. Characters can also be positioned within turns, and some have special effects depending on who is used.

The full Fuga: Melodies of Steel trilogy is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
