HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail will require higher system requirements beginning with Version 4.0. The changes are being implemented to accommodate upcoming content updates and maintain game performance.
Both the minimum supported specifications and recommended specifications will be increased across all platforms. Players using devices that fall below the new supported requirements may still be able to launch the game, but could experience performance issues including lag, crashes, and other stability problems.
PC Requirements
For recommended performance, players will need an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to or better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. The operating system requirement is Windows 10 64-bit or higher with DirectX 11.
The minimum supported specifications call for an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to or better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. Windows 10 64-bit or higher and DirectX 11 are also required.
Android Requirements
Android users will need devices with processor performance matching or exceeding the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 1300, or Kirin 9000 for recommended specifications, along with 6GB RAM and Android 9 or higher.
For minimum supported specs, devices should have performance equivalent to the Snapdragon 835, Dimensity 720, or Kirin 810, with 4GB RAM and Android 9 or higher. All devices with PowerVR architecture GPUs will be incompatible, except for those using the Imagination D-Series.
iOS Requirements
iPhone users will need an iPhone 11 or newer for recommended performance. iPad users should have a 9th generation iPad (2021, A13 chip) or later, iPad mini 6th generation (2021, A15 chip) or later, or iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd generation (2021, M1 chip) or later. The minimum iOS version is 13.0.
For supported specifications, iPhone 8 Plus or newer devices are required. Compatible iPads include the 7th generation (2019, A10 chip) or later, and iPad Pro 10.5-inch (2017, A10X chip) or later, all running iOS 13.0 or higher.
