Good Smile Company has announced a Gawr Gura Nendoroid, as well as a line of Hololive EN figures, based on the original designs of their English-speaking Vtubers.
Gawr Gura Nendoroid Available Soon.
UPDATE: The figure is now available for preorder. More information here.
The Gawr Gura Nendoroid will include Gura’s trident, as well as a little stand of her mascot, Blip the shark. It will also include two alternate head options, one including Gura’s shark hood.
According to Good Smile, the figure will be available for preorder soon, though no specific timeline has been given.
Hololive EN Figures by Pop Up Parade
Similar to the Hololive Gamers generation, the Hololive EN figures will be part of the Pop Up Parade line, which produces high quality figures at a more affordable price.
Each of the 5 members- Calliope Mori, Takanashi Kiara, Amelia Watson, Ninomae Ina’Nis and Gawr Gura will be getting their own figures. No release date has been given for them, however.
While all of them got recent redesigns, the figures are based on their original debut outfits.
These announcements were made at Anime Expo Lite, an online anime convention that featured a panel by the girls of Hololive EN. The event has also released a host of Hololive EN merchandise such as Lenticular coasters, a smartphone stand as well as a T shirt featuring the talents.
Hololive EN is the English-speaking branch of the Vtuber agency Hololive, featuring primarily English streams as opposed to Japanese. That being said most of the talents are also bilingual, having done collaborations with their Japanese counterparts. Considering the group only debuted less than a year ago, this marks the shortest time between a Vtuber’s debut and them getting their own figure.
Gawr Gura has skyrocketed in popularity, recently overtaking Kizuna Ai to become the number one most-subscribed Vtuber.
