Hearthstone Mercenaries has finally arrived to Hearthstone! The all-new, free to play game mode is a fresh new way for players to enjoy the digital card game, combining tactical RPG-style combat with engrossing and rewarding long-term progression. The focus is now on the game’s various iconic characters for you to collect, upgrade and kit out for the battles that await.
Hearthstone Mercenaries sees you assemble parties of six heroes from your roster and complete single-player Bounties, a randomly generated series of battles culminating in powerful Bounty Bosses. Every hero on the team will gain experience after each successful battle, increasing in power and gaining access to new abilities as they level up. Upon completing a full Bounty, players will earn a cache of treasure that includes Mercenary Coins, which they can use to craft additional heroes, or upgrade ones they already own.
Over 50 heroes are available at launch for you to get creative and find synergies. Face off against other players in the Fighting Pit for more experience, achievements, and other rewards.

Earn eight Mercenary heroes for free from completing the prologue and introductory missions. The rest can be obtained just from playing the campaign or in-game rewards. Mercenaries packs are also purchasable at 100 in-game gold each, or in bundles starting from $2.99 USD. Each pack contains 5 Mercenaries items, including cards, portraits or coins with at least one Rare or better Mercenary card.
