Capcom’s Official Yasmine Celebration Cup in Manila, Philippines, proved to be a success with local fans braving the heavy rain to attend the action-packed celebration and tournament.
Salud! by Primera Bar & Restaurant in Palanan, Makati, was packed with passionate Street Fighter 6 fans to celebrate their love for the game and Yasmine, Capcom’s newest Filipina warrior.

The event was packed with cool features such as massive posters for photo opportunities as well as PS5s for friendly/competitive gaming. Some fans even attended the community event dressed like the best of the best of Street Fighter, such as Ryu and Cammy.
Another standout feature of the event was the claw machine, where fans got the chance to win limited-edition Yasmine-themed keychains. The keychains also featured iconic Philippine destinations, such as Boracay, Rizal Park, and the Banaue Rice Terraces.
The lucky attendees also brought home event-exclusive Yasmine-themed apparel, including hoodies, shirts, and lanyards.
CAPCOM’s Street Fighter 6 Yasmine Celebration Cup couldn’t have had a better storybook ending as well. From a 32-player pool, the tournament boiled down to ‘H1ghscor3’ vs ‘Manza’ in a nail-biting showdown between Yasmin and A.K.I., respectively.
Both players showed mastery of their characters, even H1ghscor3, who was playing a character who had been introduced just a week earlier.
In the end, H1ghscor3 clinched the championship using Yasmine’s “Blooming Sampaguita”, resulting in an absolute crowd roar. Manza ended up as the first-runner-up, while another player known simply as U won second-runner-up using Kimberly.
Overall, Capcom’s event was a success made possible by the avid fans, whose spirit wasn’t dampened by the continuous rain.
