It looks like fans will probably hear about the mysterious DLC Character 5 for Guilty Gear Strive soon, according to the game’s soundtrack.
The tracklist, with the missing character’s spot for their soundtrack
The 2-disc collection for the Guilty Gear Strive soundtrack was announced, which includes all the music from the base game as well as the themes of DLC characters from the Season 1 pass and one other unreleased song titled Rock And Roll, Rock Hard Maniac.
The tracklist even mentions one unannounced track- undoubtedly the theme of DLC 5 for Guilty Gear Strive, making it a safe assumption that we’ll get the full marketing cycle for the next character before the album releases.
In the interest of transparency, Arc System Works has not said anything about the new character actually being out by then- this is pure speculation built on the assumption that the soundtrack would release with the character’s name on it.
Expectations are high for the final character of Guilty Gear Strive’s first Season Pass- story mode fans want to see Asuka R Kreitz make his playable debut, while fans who believe the datamines want the return of fan-favorite characters Slayer or Jam in the game’s DLC
The 2-disc collection is titled Guilty Gear Strive Original Soundtrack- Necessary Discrepancy, and will begin pre-sales on March 23rd with a release date in May.
