With the launch of Irregular at Magic High School Reloaded Memory, the reroll tier lists are out. This is an “average” of the rankings across a number of sources as there are disagreements; pretty expected for a new game with a limited pool to start.

All characters are 4-star base rarity.

ANGELINA KUDOU SHIELDS	Yellow	Attacker	SS	Good self-buff and team support. High magic crit. Slow ultimate gauge gain.
CHIBA ERIKA	Red	Attacker	S	Early game type advantage. Lack of self-buffs.
WATANABE MARI	Yellow	Tank	S	Current best magic resistance. Self-heal. Versatile. Overall durability a little low for a tank.
SAIJOU LEONHARD	Yellow	Tank	S	Overall versatile defenses. Lacks in actual support for party.
MITSUI HONOKA	Green	Tank	S	Current best physical resistance. Has self-healing, physical defense buff attached to ultimate, which is slow to recover.
SAEGUSA KASUMI	Green	Attacker	S	Has "piercing" capabilities. Can prevent recovery abilities. Likely to fall off later.
SHIBATA MIZUKI	Red	Suppporter	S	Can buff magic attack, and debuff enemy defenses. Ultimate is a powerful team buff. Not meant as a healer.
YOSHIDA MIKIHIKO	Red	Tank	A	Current best physical resistance. Can become more resistant to magic with investment. Has some strengths, but no synergy at the early stages.
SAEGUSA MAYUMI	Blue	Tank	A	Great durability, but still a little lacking when compared to others.
ICHIJOU MASAKI	Yellow	Attacker	A	Can buff own magic attack but is physical attacker. Does have high physical crit.
KITAYAMA SHIZUKU	Green	Attacker	A	Can reduce skill cost. Has good team support. A little unreliable on auto battle.
SAEGUSA IZUMI	Green	Supporter	B	Can be a good team support, but will need some investment.
