Welcome to a simple guide to help you get all endings and branches in a new series of character stories in Hangout Events for Genshin Impact, this one featuring the ever reliable General Gorou! There are also achievements you can get related to the Hangout, so let’s begin.

UNLOCKING HANGOUT EVENTS

You’ll need two Story Keys to unlock the Hangout Event. The keys are only needed for the initial unlock, you do not need more for the rest of the events.

COUNTERMEASURE CONFERENCE

Options lead to:

• “It’s okay, let’s just ignore her.”
  • For That’s, Uh…, The Smiling Send-Off, Final Remembrance endings
• “Why don’t I help you overcome this weakness?”
  • For Tactical Retreat, Desserts Are The Best! endings

Options lead to:

• “We can start with some theoretical study…”
  • For Tactical Retreat ending
• “I can act as a personality you find difficult to deal with…”
  • For Desserts Are The Best! ending

Options lead to:

• “Actually, Yae Miko’s not all bad…”
  • For That’s, Uh…, The Smiling Send-Off endings
• “Let’s steer clear of Yae Publishing House for now, then.”
  • For Final Remembrance ending

The Tactical Retreat ending can be obtained by following through the dialogue. Repeat the “Praying for Fortune” step to draw all the fortune slips to get the Changing Times achievement.

SPECIAL TRAINING

You just need to go through the dialogue to get the Desserts Are The Best! ending. However, you do need to fight off some Fatui, 2 waves consisting of:

• 1 x Fatui Electro Cicin Mage
• 3 x Geochanter Bracer
• 1 x Pyroslinger Bracer
• 1 x Anemoboxer Vanguard

You’ll get to use Gorou (Trial) as well.

THE SECRET BEHIND THE LETTERS

Options lead to:

• “I’ll stay and keep you company.”
  • For The Smiling Send-Off ending

• “I’ll go keep watch at Yae Publishing House.”
  • For That’s, Uh… ending

The Smiling Send-Off and That’s, Uh… endings can be obtained by following through the dialogue. You can get the To Tell or Not to Tell, That is the Question achievement from the That’s, Uh… ending.

ORDINARY MEMORIAL

The Final Remembrance ending can be obtained by following through the dialogue.

On getting all the endings for Act 1 of this Gorou Hangout, you will get the General of Watatsumi achievement. What will Yae Miko get up to next…?
