Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open at midnight local time on June 25, and Rockstar Games has shared a full breakdown of what players can expect from each edition, including the premium Ultimate Edition and the bonus content tied to early purchases. The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition is the top-tier version of the game and packs in an extensive list of exclusive content that rolls out across Jason and Lucia’s story as players progress through each chapter.

On the vehicle side, the edition includes a ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy stored at Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, a ’95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle, a Crest Kayak, and the Shitzu Squalo boat docked at Washington Beach. Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup truck also gets exclusive modifications including a cab spoiler, rear aerials, and a special livery. Players also get access to two exclusive vehicle mod shops: Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida, each offering unique customization options not available in the standard edition.

A Classic Car Collection is also part of the package, tasking players with finding and restoring abandoned vehicles as part of a commission from a character named Wyman. Four of those vehicles are exclusive to the Ultimate Edition.

Weapons get the same level of attention. Both Jason and Lucia receive personalized versions of the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver, sourced from the Vercetti Estate, with palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing, and personalized finishes. Their starting pistols, Jason’s Girardi ES9 and Lucia’s Klose K17, also come with detailed engraved variants.

The edition rounds out with several exclusive locations and activities. These include the PTT Youngin$ Compound in Southside Vice City, where players can raid an illegal goods store for special items; the Stock 305 Clothing Store in Stockyard; Sara’s Unisex Salon offering exclusive hairstyles, makeup, and facial hair options; and Electric Fang Tattoo, which carries over 50 exclusive tattoos for both characters designed by artist collective FAILE. A full set of exclusive outfits, apparel inspired by a TV show character called Macca the Gator, and various tattoos round out the cosmetic offerings.

For players who buy the standard edition first, a separate Ultimate Edition Upgrade will be available for purchase at any time after launch.

The Vintage Vice City Pack and Digital Pre-Order Bonus

All digital purchases made before November 20, 2026, and physical pre-orders while supplies last, will come with the Vintage Vice City Pack at no extra cost. The pack is built around a retro theme, featuring the ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan and a personal garage near Ocean Beach called Shore Court Garage. Both Jason and Lucia get era-appropriate outfits and hairstyles, and there is also an exclusive tropical weapon pattern available for most guns in the game, a nod to the original Vice City and its iconic character, Tommy Vercetti.

Players who pre-order digitally through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store get one free month of GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription service for GTA Online. The benefit is available to redeem right away after pre-ordering and includes a monthly GTA$500,000 bank deposit, access to Shark Cards with a 15% bonus, free and discounted vehicles, and access to the GTA+ Games Library. After the free month, the subscription renews automatically at its regular monthly price and can be cancelled at any time. The offer is limited to one redemption per platform account.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game centers on two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and is set in Leonida, a massive open world described as the biggest and most immersive entry in the series to date. Players who go digital can start pre-loading on November 12, and physical copies, which will include a download code instead of a disc, will also be available from November 12 for the same reason.
