FuRyu has officially announced CRYMELIGHT, the latest game in its “dark bishoujou action” CRY series. The game is set to launch on November 5 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
CRYMELIGHT is a roguelike action RPG that follows a young girl known only as “Alice,” who wakes up with no memories and finds herself in a place called Wonderland, described as a prison for the souls of the dead. To earn her “Rebirth,” Alice must fight her way down through the layers of Purgatory, confronting sins and regrets along the way.

The game follows the events of the previous CRY entries, 2019’s CRYSTAR and 2023’s CRYMACHINA, continuing the series’ theme of young female heroines dealing with dark fantasy settings and emotional storytelling. CRYMELIGHT introduces several systems that shape how combat and progression work.
Digital pre-orders are now live on PlayStation Store with a 20% discount. The Standard Edition is priced at $19.99, while the Deluxe Edition is $39.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, six downloadable content items (two weapons, three accessories, and an item set), a digital artbook with 80 pages, a special soundtrack with 11 tracks, and a special voice drama with three tracks. Pre-ordering either edition gives players the accessory “Dynamis (Blue).”

In Japan and Asia, physical editions will also be available, including a “Tea Party Box” edition priced at 10,978 yen. To mark the announcement, the original CRYSTAR from 2018 has been discounted. It is currently available on Steam for $1.99 and on the PlayStation Store for $3.99 on both PS5 and PS4. CRYMELIGHT will be playable at Tokyo Game Dungeon 12 on May 5, and at BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto from May 22 to 24.
